The pandemic hit the yoga community hard. I think I speak for all teachers that felt like a rug had been pulled from under their feet. For most teachers they come into teaching for the passion; the passion to want to give back to others what they have gained so deeply and profoundly through yoga. Karen Wrighton – My Yoga Journey
My yoga journey began in December 2018 when I was experiencing a lot of anxiety which is really not like me. I wanted to try something that would be calming and also a form of exercise that I could do regularly and stick with. I found Reena and joined the Beginners Course. This was a great starter for somebody who has never done yoga before and gave me the basic understanding of the positions and background into yoga. International Day of Yoga
21st June – International Day of Yoga Each year millions of yoga enthusiasts around the globe celebrate yoga! Here it’s no different. It’s always a great evening full of heart, soul and good food! We are all about community and feeling a part of something greater, during the evening we celebrate this ethos. The evening often includes inspirational readings, yoga and breathing techniques, deep relaxation, mantra chanting, lots of food and chit chat! Often we have wonderful memories to share.
