Our Story

Reena started teaching in 2015 after completing her initial Teacher Training Course. Her inspiration came about when she couldn’t find a local class similar to her preferred style and also felt the need to develop an inclusive community.  Although having a successful corporate career including up to management level Reena dedicated her time fully to the teaching and practice of Yoga.

Reena is also a graduate of Loughborough University and Kings College London and is extremely grateful to all her teachers that have guided her both personally and professionally. Her journey started with meditation many years ago and was later introduced to yoga by her uncle Kishore who lives in Boston, USA.  She credits much of her inspiration, positive support and yogic discipline to “KishoreMama”.

Growing up Reena loved to dance and completed her Diploma in Bharatnatyam, a South Indian Classical Dance. Bharatnatyam dance is closely linked to Bhakti Yoga.

As a passionate sports fan, Reena is proud to have taught and introduced yoga to all Premier League Referees at St Georges Park (home of England’s Football Team).

Reena has travelled extensively, staying in mindful communities and yoga ashrams worldwide. She completed her Advanced Teacher Training Certification in the Himalayas.

Reena is an experienced member of the Yoga Alliance Professionals UK and has over 4000 hours of teaching and further training.

Further Teacher Training includes:  Yoga Psychology, Yoga Posture and Anatomy, Meditation and Mantras, Yoga for Children,  Yoga for Pregnancy, and Yoga for Seniors.
