Meditation is widely practiced today to maintain good mental health; you do not have to be religious or spiritual to experience the benefits of meditation. Some of these benefits include a clearer mind, reducing feelings of anxiety and stress and easing high blood pressure. Meditation also promotes relaxation, increased energy and more kindness to oneself. If you are new to meditation then this small and friendly class is a perfect start. The class is open to everyone, so please do come along.
Meditation is every Friday 7pm – 8pm at Tesco Extra Community Room, Loughborough , Park Road. Please do come along, no experience is necessary. The class is £6 drop-in.

Location: The community room is at the back of the main store. The room is accessed via the main store entrance; walk down the main aisle and it is to the right of the photo processing area. The room is self contained and offers a relaxing environment.
What to expect at the session: The session is based around meditation and often we practice relaxation and conscious breathing to help our meditation practice. You will always be guided including full explanation and helpful tips for your own practice.
What to bring: You do not need to wear any particular clothing, just comfortable clothing. During the session we often sit on chairs to create a more relaxed experience for everyone. If you would like to sit on the floor you are welcome to bring a yoga mat.
